FAQ
How much money will I get through the
Nova Scotia Child Care Subsidy?
The child care costs that will be covered
by the Nova Scotia Child Care Subsidy depend
on your family’s social need, how much money
you have, and your income. What you get is
probably going to be different from what
another person might get. A good general
rule is; the lower your income, the more
subsidy you may be eligible for. As a
result, it’s difficult for us to say even
what you might receive. To get the
specifics, the best thing to do is talk to a
Child Care Subsidy Caseworker. He or she
will be able to walk you through the
application process, as well as answer any
questions or concerns that you may have. You
can find your local Community Services
office
here.
If you are unsure of which office to
contact, you can call Nova Scotia Community
Services at 1-877-424-1177 for help. ix |
